Moustapha Kamal Gueye, a Senegalese lawyer and economist, is the Coordinator of the Green Jobs Programme at the International Labour Organizaton (ILO). Prior to joining the ILO, he spent 12 years at the Institute for Global Environment Strategies (IGES) in Japan before joining, in 2006, the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) in Geneva where he was responsible for setting up the environment program. In 2009, he became Head of the Green Economy Advisory Services at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). He joined the ILO in 2012 following the Rio +20 Conference.
