Miguel Vera is the National Technical Leader of the Project for Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change on water resources in the Andes-AICCA. He has been an environmental consultant in the public and private sectors of Colombia for more than 20 years, coordinator of environmental projects with an emphasis on conservation, recovery of protected areas and adaptation to climate change. During his experience, he has promoted the management of cooperation resources and the articulation and exchange of experiences in processes for the conservation and management of ecosystems associated with water in urban and rural areas, climate change, biodiversity conservation and environmental education, among others. He is a Biologist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), Specialist in International Cooperation and Project Management (Externado University, Colombia) and Master in Sustainability (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain).
