Craig Leeson is an award-winning filmmaker. He is the founder of Leeson Media International, Leeson Global Media and Ocean Vista Films. His work has been screened on Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, NatGeo, Discovery, BBC, CNN, PBS, Bio Channel, ESPN, etc. Craig is the narrator/director/writer of the documentary feature “A Plastic Ocean” (2017) and the producer/director/writer/narrator of new IMAX adventure feature “The Last Glaciers” (set for release March 22). “A Plastic Ocean” was ranked No.1 on iTunes and translated to 25 languages, winning 17 awards and described by Sir David Attenborough as “the most important film of our time”. “The Last Glaciers” was filmed in 12 countries over four years using ultra-high definition cameras in extreme environments to capture the effects of climate change on the world’s glaciers. Craig is also the ambassador for Footprint Foundation, helped found A Plastic Oceans Foundation in Hong Kong, is an adviser to Plastic Oceans International, The Klosters Forum, and Ocean14Capital, and is a sustainability partner of BNP Paribas. He has been shortlisted for the Australian Of The Year Award and was the recipient of Cathay Pacific’s Changemaker Award.
