RegisterGlaciers are known to contain memories and traces of past climate and environment, but they are on retreat worldwide. ICE MEMORY is an initiative aiming to provide and manage ice cores, and the information they contain, for decades and centuries to come. Safeguarding these ice cores is key to providing scientific advances and knowledge, all the while guiding political decisions, which will eventually contribute to the well-being of humanity.
